Donations and Fund Raising
As you can imagine, the financial needs to care for Victoria are astronomical! Victoria has been denied any type of financial help and has NC Medicaid and Medicare insurance. There are several necessary medical treatments that Victoria needs to improve her quality of life, which includes physical therapy, occupational therapy, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, in home aid, supplementation, equipment, transportation, etc. Any monetary donations are greatly appreciated! We are also in need of any volunteers that would be willing to donate time to help take care of Victoria and her daily needs while at home. We sincerely believe that Victoria has a better quality of life with her family and friends at home, than at the nursing home. And try to keep her home as much as possible. We have a wonderful support system in place for Victoria, but it is a lot of work for everyone involved. Extra hands can help lighten the load for everyone involved, and is greatly appreciated from anyone willing to help.
Current Fundraising Efforts
Victoria's neurologist, Dr. Jean Ronel Corbier, director of the Brain Restoration Clinic, has recommended an intensive treatment program that cost about $13,655 a year and includes some nutritional supplementation, test to evaluate progress, and access to specialists that the nursing home has denied Victoria access to during the last two years. But he cannot start the intensive treatment program without the therapy needed from the Hyperbaric Oxygen Chamber.
